West Bank Demolitions Leave Dozens Homeless Amid Dispute Over Building Permits

The Israeli army totally destroyed all twelve houses, as well as any other necessary infrastructure, in the West Bank village of Khirbet al-Tabban, rendering about seventy Palestinians homeless. The destruction of the buildings was done based on the claim that the structures were not permitted, which is practically impossible for the Palestinians in the Area C region to get permission for, after a court ruling that the displacing of people was legal in the military training areas.
